Take the first step Monday, October 13th at 5:45-6:45PM with Kim and others as you begin a journey into "mindfulness".


What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the simple yet profound practice of paying attention to our present moment experience with kindness and curiosity. Instead of being swept away by worries, busyness or self-judgement,  mindfulness gives us a way to come home to our body, our breath and our heart.


Why practice?

Research and lived experience show that mindfulness can:


        -       Reduce stress and anxiety


        -       Improve focus and clarity


        -       Nurture compassion for ourselves and others


        -       Support emotional balance and resilience


        -       Help us meet life’s seasons, joys and challenges alike, with more ease and wisdom



What makes this series unique?

Each week, we will explore a different theme, beginning with the foundations of mindfulness and gradually deepening into practices of presence, compassion and connection. You will learn practical skills to bring mindfulness into everyday life, whether it’s a pause with your breath, mindful walking or meeting yourself with kindness in difficult moments.


The sessions will include:


        -       short teachings


        -       guided meditations


        -       time for reflection and group sharing


        -       simple practices to take home each week


This series is for beginners and experienced meditators alike. A space to learn, grow, and support one another in community.
