I opened Home Yoga in Milford in 2018 after more than a decade of welcoming students into my first home studio, Yoga on the Porch. When the pandemic changed how people gathered and practiced, Home Yoga evolved too. Today, I offer hybrid classes — connecting students in the studio and practicing live from home.

My teaching path began in education as a middle school Language Arts teacher, continued into teaching water exercise, and eventually led me to the yoga mat — where I found a true sense of home.

I completed my 200-hour Embodyoga® Teacher Training in 2007 with Patty Townsend, Chair Yoga certification with Lakshmi Voelker, and Kripalu’s 300-hour Teacher Training in 2019. I continue to learn through my teachers, my community, and every student I practice alongside.

What began as a physical practice has become something deeper: a way of connecting — to breath, to presence, and to one another.

At Home Yoga, my intention is simple: to offer accessible, mindful yoga that helps people move well, feel well, and stay connected to themselves — whether practicing on the mat or in the chair, in the studio or at home.

I look forward to welcoming you to practice.

Kim teaches with a gentle, heart-centered approach that blends mindfulness, yoga, and the practice of deep rest. She sees mindfulness not just as a technique, but as a way of meeting life with presence, kindness, and curiosity.

Her journey began in 2018, when stepping into this studio opened the door to healing, self-discovery, and compassion. Along the way, she found a deep passion for Yoga Nidra, completing training with John Vosler and Kamini Desai, and has guided the practice for the past six years as a pathway to rest, healing, and inner wisdom.

Kim’s studies also include Pranotthan Yoga with Devarshi Steven Hartman, Deep Play for Kids with Missy Brown, and the two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.

Whether guiding meditation, leading yoga, or introducing children to mindful movement, Kim invites students to slow down, connect inward, and rediscover their natural capacity for balance and well-being.
