I opened "Home Yoga" in Milford in 2018 after ten years of teaching in my home studio, "Yoga On the Porch". The 2020 pandemic changed the way (the "where") some people practice.  Many are comfortable practicing on Zoom in their own homes.  Staying in the flow, I have responded and evolved and teach hybrid classes: leading class to those in the studio as well as those on Zoom.

I completed my 200 YTT in Embodyoga in 2007 under the direction of Patty Townsend in Amherst, MA., Chair Yoga certification through Lakshmi Voelker, my Kripalu 300 YTT in 2019. I am a member of the Kripalu Yoga and Ayurveda Association. I am inspired by the teachings of all my Kripalu teachers throughout the years as well as Jason Crandall, Rod Stryker, Adyashanti, and Tara Brach. I learn the most through the fellow students I meet on the mat and practice with each day.

My teaching career began in New Haven teaching middle school Language Arts. I then moved into the pool teaching water exercise and finally I landed on the yoga mat! Now beginning my 6th decade, I'm ready for the infinite possibilities that lie ahead...always changing and evolving! What began as a purely physical practice has widened to a deeper spiritual and interconnectedness in life.  A teacher at heart, I have found my true passion on the mat and even on the chair - helping others find the benefits and profound peace of a yoga practice - the peace within your heart - your home.

I look forward with great joy in meeting you on the mat everytime...wherever we are!

“To embody yoga is to enter the body-mind fully, with clarity of awareness, self-acceptance, compassion and awe... to perceive directly, your very nature — pure radiating awareness to witness and know intimately that every cell is awake, alive, and self-aware.”
~ Patty Townsend
