Service Description

I am enrolled in a 2 year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certificate Program, (MMTCP).  To meet the requirements of the course I must complete two "practice teach" courses.  This is the 2nd introduction to mindfulness course.  I am looking for volunteers to participate in a 5 week, 90 minute, ONLINE course starting in May. The goal is to introduce mindfulness meditation and the foundational practices of mindfulness of breath, body, thoughts and feelings. No prior experience is necessary. The class is for beginners new to mindfulness and interested in learning more, as well as those who are already familiar with mindfulness and want to reconnect with the practices.  Each week will include a talk, mindful accessible movement, guided mindfulness practice and Q&A.   Week 1 Introduction to Mindfulness Week 2 Mindfulness of the Body Week 3 Being Fully Human: Mindfulness of Emotions Week 4 Working with Thoughts and Beliefs Week 5 The Wise Heart and bringing Your Practice into the World The time and dates are wednesdays 6-7:30pm, May 15th-June 12th
