Kundalini Yoga July 2nd, 9-10AM! - ZOOM ONLY-

Kim & "special guest teacher", Gina, combine their energies to present a special class for you.

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® is a comprehensive yoga tradition, combining meditation, mantra, physical exercises and breathing techniques.

It is also known as the Yoga of Awareness; its focus is on self-awareness and offering an experience of your highest consciousness. The technology of Kundalini Yoga is a science of the mind and body, to elevate the spirit, which has no boundaries, no discrimination. It is taught using Kriyas, which are a combination of breath and exercises done for precise times in order, like a recipe.

For thousands of years, this sacred science and technology was veiled in secrecy, passed along verbally from master to chosen disciple. Kundalini Yoga was brought to the West in 1968 by Yogi Bhajan. Through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and meditation, your glandular and nervous systems are stimulated, and your capacity for creative potential is heightened. You gain inner vitality to compensate for the adverse effects of stress so you can excel in life.

Meet Gina Cassetta

Gina has been meditating for over 35 years and practicing yoga for 25 years. The self-awareness gained through each of them led her to become a Kundalini Yoga Teacher. She has taught classes in meditation and yoga in private homes and business settings, as well as at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury for four years, and subs at YogaSpace.

She is often told that her energy, enthusiasm, and optimism are an inspiration to others. As part of a Sacred Circle of Women since 1998, she has been leading groups about various spirituality topics including Universal Laws, the Goddess, Beauty, and the concept that we each create our own life experiences. Her research into finding ways to create more positive life experiences has given her a desire to share these techniques with others in ways that are fun, empowering and approachable.
